This month our series of inspiring women wearing Andiata continues with Camille Roux Dit Buisson, a 28-year-old art dealer and director of the Comité Jacqueline Marval. Camille started her career in fashion, but soon one of her biggest passions took over and guided her career path into the world of arts. Comité Jacqueline Marval
Jacqueline Marval was one of the pioneers of French modern art and fauvism, and she was highly recognised and exhibited worldwide before her passing in 1932. Driven by the will to share the story of this great forgotten artist, Camille and her family founded the Comité Jacqueline Marval in December of 2020 in Paris.
”We aim to allow her rediscovery: from the exhibitions of her works to the redaction of the Catalogue Raisonné, we want to make her archives accessible”, Camille describes.
Camille's Perfect Day in Paris
To Camille, a perfect Parisian morning starts with a long walk around the city featuring a good friend and fresh matcha latte on-the-go. Camille’s favorite route passes by the Cour Carrée du Louvre and across the Seine, viewing the most beautiful parts of the city in the delicate morning light. The day continues by enjoying great art in Musée d’Orsay and the galleries in Saint Germain, followed by a nice glass of wine in the terrace of a local brasserie. After a quick change of clothes the evening gets its perfect ending at a long dinner with all of her closest friends.
What To Do And See in Paris
”Walk everywhere and get lost”, Camille says when asked about the best way to explore Paris. Coffee in the gardens of the Musée de la Vie Romantique or in Musée Rodin’s are perfect laid-back activities, while the Fondation Louis Vuitton, Musée d’Art Moderne and Palais de Tokyo are must-see places one must not miss out on. Of course there is no forgetting the Comité Jacqueline Marval, which Camille recommends to visit on guided visit days. For a good shopping spree, Camille recommends heading directly to Le Bon Marché.

Being close to her mother herself, Camille also feels connected to the mother-daughter story behind Andiata.”It’s all about the balance”, says Camille, who describes her go-to style to be comfortable, yet impactful and able to take her easily from day to evening occasions.
